Syncing wrong info

Ok.. so I opened my Fitbit app and the info for the past three days is wrong.

Ill start with how my week went: Tuesday i was sick all day and stayed in bed. I didn’t even put my Fitbit on. Wednesday, I traveled and my Fitbit was dead, i charged it late at night before I went to bed. Today, (Thursday), I woke up early, put my Fitbit on, went Christmas shopping all day. I remember checking sometime around 6-7 pm, and I had about 6k steps.

When I got home, I checked my app. It says Tuesday and Wednesday I have over 8k steps on both days. It said I even had a 48 Minute workout on Tuesday! Now remember, I didn’t wear my band both of those days. It also said I have 200 steps total today starting at 8:30 (I was driving home during that time)

i deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it still gives me this incorrect information. Help!

@Clgarcia

Sounds to me that it wasn't sync'd right after you charged it. When the battery goes to 0%, it needs to be sync'd right after its charged.

Excellent input @ACG! Keep it up. Smiley Happy

A warm welcome to our new friend @Clgarcia! Hey, adding to the post above, I've sometimes noticed that my stats go a little crazy when I sync my tracker near any of my old trackers I don't use but still have paired to my account; therefore, I recommend removing any additional trackers from your account if you aren't using them.

Out of curiosity, do you remember syncing your tracker right after you finished charging it? The reason I ask this is because what could have happened is that you charged your tracker up but didn't sync until later. If your tracker was completely dead, you charged it and wore it but never synced, then your tracker might not begin recording data for the correct day.

It's recommended to sync your tracker daily before wearing it to ensure it has synced for the correct day. Hope this makes sense! Smiley Very Happy
