I was reading the comments on here and didn’t think to try any of them because I thought they wouldn’t work for me since I tried everything. A couple of people said to TURN ON your previews under your messages in your iPhone. I turned mine on, (only when unlocked) and it’s working again!!!! Before I wasn’t able to receive my text messages after I updated my iPhone XR to the iOS 13. All is well now for me!!!!!
