I have tried these steps repeatedly for the past month. Even reset my iPhone system settings with no luck.
This past week or two, I have began receiving call notifications and reminders, however no text notifications.
This is all in addition to my Fitbit not auto tracking exercises consistently. It actually really only automatically logs anything on Sundays and Mondays. I can’t figure out why even after checked every setting and turned things off then back on.
I contacted support a few months ago. The person was of no help. Told me the fix was to manually log my exercises. Obviously manually logging my exercises is not why I got a Fitbit in the first place.
Will someone please help me with fixing the automatic exercise logging and receiving notifications (especially text message notifications) on my Fitbit?
Thanks!

Hi @SunsetRunner , a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your post.
Regarding the situation with the text notifications, as you already visited the thread about this, you might be aware that we are working on it. I appreciate your patience and collaboration.
There can be different reasons why your exercise was not recorded or recognized.
For example, the activity is not fully recognized by your movement patterns.
You paused for more than 30 seconds during the first few minutes, so the tracker may have "thought" that the exercise has ended.
I recommend that you restart your tracker and set the start times for the activities differently. For example, for walking, 10 minutes, running on 15, cycling outdoors on 20, etc. and / or ignoring the activities you don't use.
You can find the instructions for this here.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Juan,
thank you for your response and suggestions.
i have tried changing the workout times several times. The problem will be fixed for a day then go back to not auto recognizing.
i have restarted my Fitbit, updated my phone, made sure everything on Fitbit was up to date and set correctly.
nothing has helped and I got this Fitbit mostly because of the text, call and other notifications.
i felt so cheated with the help I got from the first customer service agent, and now the watch functions are getting worse.
i realize you guys are working on it, but I’m almost out of patience with all the lost functions
