Ace is designed for kids 8+. Most 8 year olds don’t have a phone. A lot of 8 year olds have an iPad. My daughter is one of them. Hers is cell enabled for things like Pokémon and texting mom and dad while at a friend’s or grandma’s. Super shocked to see there’s no iPad app, only iPhone. Also quite shocked to see there’s no text notifications supported. Many more 8+ kids have text capabilities than call capabilities. PLEASE release an iPad app and, more importantly, text notifications so she doesn’t go hours without texting me back when she’s at Grandma’s.

@death2lois -- the iPhone app works fine on an iPad. To find it search for fitbit in the app store from the iPad. Once you do that you'll see "Filters" in the top left-hand of the screen. Click that and change the search from "iPad only" (default) to "iPhone only", and you will be able to find the fitbit iPhone app and load on the iPad. Then you just use it the same way as if the iPad were an iPhone.
As far as text notifications go, I think it does support that if her iPad gets them and you've app set up to forward the notifications.
Hope that helps. Let us know.
