Hopefully this will help those of you having issues with receiving text notifications (and I apologize if I’m posting already known information).  But if you are an iPhone user, make sure to got into your Settings on your phone, Notifications, then Messages and make sure that the Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.  After changing th is I my own settings, I am finally getting my text notifications! 😊. Hopefully this helps!
