The only value Fitbit had was its app as its harware is pure ***. guess what? They upgraded their app to **** whether your heart rate is shown as a range and you cannot see your current HR. This company will go bankrupt.

Current heart rate is clearly displayed on both the Fitbit (any version) and the app, both the new and old. If it’s not, all you have to do is change the settings - -

Hi, @paf123 it shows you the range when your Fitbit is not actively connected to the app. If you have recently synced it will show you your current heartrate. For myself, I actually like that it shows the range (which I think it is the range detected over the previous 24 hours) - I find it quite interesting to see the lowest and highest reading recorded without having to dive into the graphs.
If you scroll back through the days it will show you the range for each day, which I also find useful.
I also find it helpful to know that, when it shows the range, rather than current HR, my Fitbit may not be currently connected to the app.
These, are, of course, my personal thoughts on this matter. I am actually a big fan of the new app. Once I got used to it I found it more customisable than the old one. I really like the “focus” feature.

I just got the new app. What setting do I change in order to see my current heart rate?
