Time zones and silent alarms

I've just flown across the Atlantic for work and my silent alarms have all moved to the afternoon.  However, the clock has correctly reset itself to the right timezone.  When setting the alarm, it correctly says "06:30", but the summary of all silent alarms still shows "15:30".  I'm completely confused when exactly the alarm will go off in the local time zone.

Just another addition, this mismatch also shows up in the sleep log. The graph shows 21:54 - 04:38 but the sleep schedule says 12:54-19:38.

Hello @NishD, I hope you're having a great day, it's great to see you around! Smiley Happy

It seems the alarms you set up are still set to the same time but at a different timezone, in which case I would like to suggest removing these alarms, restarting your tracker and setting them up once again.

Now, in regards of your sleep log, this also seems to be affected by the timezone; however, restarting your tracker should prevent future logs to show a discrepancy between times. My recommendation would be tapping on the sleep tile and edit this log, then monitor your sleep logs for the next few days to check if the same issue arises once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Thanks Marco.  Interestingly, the app corrected itself after two days without needing a restart (I guess it was jet lagged too?) so yesterday's sleep now shows up at the right local time.

However, this brings another interesting question about heart rate monitoring.  Since each day shows only as 24 hours, what did the app do with the extra 9 hours that I "gained" when I flew to San Fransisco, and what will it do when I fly back tomorrow and it finds 9 hours missing from the day?

Hello @NishD, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply! Smiley Happy

When you travel to a different timezone, those extra hours you lose will be added to your hour count once you return to your original timezone, meaning that if you lose 9 hours, you will recover 9 hours. Please remember to sync your tracker once you're in a new timezone for these changes to apply.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.
