I can’t update to the correct time zone, on my Charge 2. You change it to GMT then when you sync it reverts back to Los Angeles having done this through advanced settings! Highly frustrating!!!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your watch. In order to update your timezone, you will need to update your settings first and then sync. I would like you to confirm you're doing this procedure to update your timezone:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab
- Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option.
- Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.
- Sync your Fitbit device
