Tracker having trouble syncing with app for iOS since app overhaul

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since the major app redesign, my Inspire 2 tracker is very slow to initiate a sync with the app. I have to pull down from the top of the screen 3-4 times to get it to sync. Please fix this bug in the app.

Welcome back to the community @Baymax.

I'm sorry to know about this situation when you try to sync. Thank you for the details provided.

If you are still having difficulties to sync, please try to follow the steps listed below:

  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on.
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again

In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device.

If you're still having any issues, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.

You are not the first one to complain about the iOS application, screen refreshing. This problem has been going on for years and has only gotten worse. When the synchronized button was added to the home screen, I had hoped it would fix the problem and it did not. Paul to refresh when there were only a handful of people using the 4.00 upgrade? Seemed to work better. Prior to the 4.00 upgrades I would click on what now is the device/app button and then on my tracking device, and then scroll down to the synchronize now button and refresh three, four or more times in order to make sure  That the iOS home screen refreshed totally. Recently, I have had some luck by clicking at the top on the home screen the previous day button. And then clicking on the next day button disappears to be approximately 9% successful and is much quicker than any other method of trying to refresh the iOS home screen.  I am blind and have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings. I am using an iOS version 17.1.1 an iPhone SE third generation and have a 5G plus connection. I am using Apple version 4.03.

Thank you for the recommendations. I disabled and re-enabled Bluetooth and that worked for the most part. It’s still slow to sync, but at least it syncs now.
