all the sudden I cant get a Bluetooth connection with my iPhone...everything is up to date.  ive tried deleting the app and re-installing and turning Bluetooth off and on.  the tracker itself works but I prefer to see the app on a daily basis.  it worked fine the first few months and than just stopped

I had the same issue so I went through the reset through the carving unit steps outlined on the website. It now connects via Bluetooth but I now have an issue with logging water and food.

Hello @hhauert, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! I hope you're doing well @JoG1, it's nice to see you around.

@hhauert, usually Fitbit tracker do not connect directly through the Bluetooth settings on your phone, they connect using the Fitbit app. If your tracker is not syncing to your phone I would like to suggest checking @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips and recommendations that have been very helpful for many people in the Community.

If after following those steps your tracker is still not syncing, my recommendation would be setting up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between the phone and your tracker. Don't worry, this won't remove any of the information previously stored in your account.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

@JoG1, I've noticed you've posted about the issues with water and food logs in another thread, I've already replied with some troubleshooting steps, please give them a try and if you need further assistance, let me know!

@hhauert, I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!
