My Fitbit stopped connecting to my phone's GPS last week. When I start run mode, I'm getting a message that says "check fitbit". I updated to iOS 11 last week too. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello @Bryannaj, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Which tracker are you currently using? Have you restarted it and restarted your phone yet? If so, please go to your phone Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Fitbit and make sure Always is selected. If Always is already selected, select Never, restart your phone, then select Always and restart your phone one more time.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

A lot of us are experiencing the same issue with IOS 11 since it came out. Community responses have ranged from "Our engineers are working on it" to presenting temporary solutions like these.
So, are engineers really working on it or will I have to restart my phone/tracker or reinstall the app every time before my run?
