Tracking exercise

I can’t tap the Fitbit icon at the bottom of the app and pull up track exercise after the IOS update. It worked fine before

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which iOS mobile device you're currently using to check the Fitbit app? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? This issue started after the iOS update or a Fitbit app update? When you tap the icon, what happens? The track exercise never loads, the Fitbit app crashes or simply doesn't do anything? If possible, please send me a screenshot of this, you can refer to this post to attach the image.

I have an iPhone XR. when I was tracking my walk on Monday the app worked fine. I updated my phone Monday night and Tuesday the app would not track my walk. I’ve tried to add a screen shot of what I’m talking about but I can’t seem to get it to Work

Thanks for your reply and update @Katpfief, sorry for the delay in responding your post. 

 

The details that were shared with me are appreciated, seems odd that your walk activity is not being recorded after the update. Can you please let me know how many times you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the iOS version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Restart your Fitbit device
  8. Let me know if the issue persists.

 

Regarding the screenshot, are you getting an error message while trying to attach the image or it simply doesn't load?

Thanks for your response. As far as how often the app doesn’t track my walk it hasn’t been tracking it since I updated the phone. I can track it on my actual Fitbit and it syncs with the app but I can’t actually start tracking with the app. As far as the screenshot there is nowhere when I am replying that gives me an opportunity to attach picture. Never mind. I just figured it out. I circled in red where I was able to tap and it brought up track my exercise, log my food, etc. now when I tap it nothing happens.

I feel like such an idiot. Did the app update?  I just realized when I hit the + next so my exercise I can start tracking there. Previously it was by tapping the Fitbit logo at the bottom
