Treadmill isn't adding to weekly exercise

When I use a tred mill my daily minutes and steps are going up.

recognises my heart rate increase.

 

BUT will not add to my weekly exercise??

 

tried loads of threads and I can’t fix the problem.

Hi @Magzamaze, welcome on board. It's nice to see a new member around!

 

It's odd that your activity isn't being added to the weekly exercise, and thanks for bringing this to my attention. Just to confirm, do you mean that your activity wasn't recognized via SmartTrack? If so, I'd recommend to use the exercise mode on the Charge 3. This way, you can start/stop your activity, and see it in the weekly exercise after syncing.

 

To add an activity in the exercise shortcuts, please try the following steps:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > Fitbit device icon.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts.
  3. To add a new exercise shortcut, tap the + icon and select an activity. You can add up to 6 activities
  4. To remove one, swipe to the left on a shortcut.
  5. To reorder an exercise shortcut, press and hold a shortcut, then drag it up or down to change its position.
  6. Sync your device to apply the changes.
