How do I stop the app showing me the sleep score average? In the last couple of days the app is now showing a sleep score rather than a weekly average time.

I agree - I certainly don’t need a ‘rating’ or judgement on my sleep patterns. It has been a useful feature to understand my sleep patterns, but I will end up taking it off at night if this can’t be turned off! Hopefully there is a way?

I can't see the setting anywhere. I have read that Sleep Score was in beta testing so I'm hoping that this is not the new default and we can't change back to average sleep (which I prefer)

I bought this to track my sleep, not my "sleep score". Sleep score is a great option, but it should be just that - optional. I need to see my average sleep, y'all.

I want to return to tracking average sleep hours too. The sleep score is ok, but tracking average weekly hours is better

Looks like Sleep Score is removed and Average Hours Slept has returned. Phew

Has there been an update? Mine is still showing the sleep score as before, I can't see any way to change it...

Now showing sleep score (in the UK and France) and genuinely annoying me. I don't need a fuzzy judgment on the quality of my sleep. This is not an enhancement, but a dumbing down. (September 2019)

Swipe left the graph to second dot, it will show you "hours slept". Then click on the graph and you will be presented with average hours for the last week.

Nothing like waking up in the morning and seeing the word POOR on your sleep graph. I don’t need some negativity so early. There must be a way to Turn off the “sleep score”!

The sleep score is not providing any insight to my sleep. I had two days this week with almost identical sleep times as well as the sleep cycles. The day I got 6 more minutes sleep my score was 69 and the day I got 6 less minutes and of sleep my score was 78. I sent an email to the company with this same example. I work IT so if they want to they can reset to the prior version and go back to average hours. I haven’t been happy with it accuracy for a long time. I’ll wake up from a dream and the sleep log will show that I was awake 20 minutes or more before my alarm goes off. If they don’t go back to the average weekly time I will be buying another brand of tracker.

Me too. The whole reason I bought the watch was to track sleep. This sleep score has made the watch useless. Time to ditch the Fitbit watch

I still have my original Alta that still works. I only bought the Charge 3 to get better insights into my sleeping. I’m going back to the Alta until I can buy something else. I’m an active dreamer so this registers that I’m awake when I’m have an active dream. They should have more than 2 settings for sleep mode Normal and sensitive. I need a less sensitive.

FITBIT let me turn off the SLEEP SCORE and "LET ME SLEEP FOR THE LOVE GOD!!!" (Tommy boy)
I don't even want to use my fitbit anymore because of this new features. This BS number first thing in the morning isn't helping me out personally at all and the scoring is so ambiguous. One night I slept 9 1/2 hours and with 1 hour and 40 minutes of deep sleep and only scored an 80. Another I slept almost 7 hours and got a 77, 7 1/2 hours and got a 71. I HATE THIS FEATURE.

How were you able to turn it off? I’m hiding my old Alta instead of my Charge 3 so that I don’t have to see that score first thing in the morning. Nice to give me an ambiguous score that makes me feel like a failure before my day even starts.

I’m sorry my post was worded poorly. I can’t turn the sleep score off. I would like Fitbit to issue an update allowing sleep score to be optional. I currently feel like Im waking up daily to failing test scores. Ugh

This feature is really annoying me now. I see FitBit is progressively rolling it out..so I've started looking at replacing my Charge 2 with a Garmin.

I get no value or insight with the sleep score. Everyone has different sleep patterns. I agree with the sleep score just being an option (or remove it completely) and bring back the average sleep. So annoying!!!!! Fitbit should create and option, not bury the sleep score and transition to an annoying useless sleep score!!!

It’s still there. Swipe over to the last dot on the sleep graph. Then hit the up/down arrow in the upper right. And you can even swipe back from there to see previous weeks. Not as good as it used to be, but at least it’s still there. Now I can ignore the judgment!

Which Fitbit do you have? The only up and down arrows on the last dot for the Charge 3 are on an angle and take me back out to the page where I see the graph and score.
