I have the Charge 3. In the app, swiping over on the sleep graph to the last dot. It says Hours in Sleep Stages at the top of that graph. Hit the arrow and it shows the detail.
I’m not sure why we are seeing two different things when we have the same Fitbit model. I have four dots at the bottom to swipe through, Awake, REM, Light, and Deep. Mine appears at the top with the score, the next section is a graph of my start to wake up time with 4 dots at the bottom to show each of the four stages, then after that a section called time spent in a stage; however I cannot do anything in this section. I did recently have an update to my Fitbit about 4 weeks ago so I should be on their latest version. I don’t think the phone would change how things appear, but I have an IPhone 8
Best AnswerYou are certainly right it is not as good as before. The biggest advantage of the previous way to view average weekly sleep was the fact you could view several weeks all at once, giving you a very quick and easy overview of how this were progressing.
Having been a satisfied fitbit user for 5 years I have started to look at alternatives as this "update" has added no benefit and in fact is detrimental. As disturbed sleep in my major concern, average weekly sleep is key to me, not some meaningless sleep score, that doesn't provide any useful information.
My problem is that it is showing I’m awake while I’m asleep having an active dream. I switched back to my Alta without the HR so I’m getting a more accurate look at my time sleeping.
Best AnswerI came across these forums after trying to find a solution to getting rid of the score. I get it, you're trying to Gamify usage, and keep people engaged.
Not sure how good the user testing was, but I think an option should be left to toggle it off. As someone pointed out, I like seeing weekly averages not scores. I bought a sleep tracker to track sleep hours, not holistic health.
I'm already thinking of swapping to a Gxxmin. Too bad, other than this, I like the FitBit ecosystem.
I, too, loathe the sleep score. I have been a loyal Fitbit user since 2012 and for the first time I’m considering that this will be my last one. Terrible feature.
