Hello @marlonbrando921, good to see you around in our community. If the issue still persist, I recommend to review the version of OS is running on your iOS device. It might require you install a new version since in some of the case I've seen this error is related to this. A workaround is to use the Safari browser and enter to the app store and try to download from there.
Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Best AnswerI'm having this same recurring problem. I then saw that I needed an OS update on my iphone, which I did (was suppose to do so automatically overnight, but didn't because it said I had an alarm set, but I didn't have an alarm set--weird). Also started getting weird text messages that said like Wanda replied to Mando (or something) on Fitbit. I don't text or have any community members on Fitbit. So after seeing these weird texts, I was unable to access the Fitbit App (getting the Unable to Download Item Please try again later). I did the iphone OS update, restarted my phone, and restarted my Fitbit. I'm also trying to change my password (I can still log into fitbit.com). What else do I need to try?
