I am receiving notifications on my Fitbit but am unable to access the notifications portion on the app. It appears all other app features are working but I am unable to select which apps I receive Fitbit notifications for. I gave attempted to update the app as well as restart my Fitbit.

You will need to uninstall the Fitbit App and reinstall then do the notifications [and App notifications, if any].
