I have four Fitbits now. Started with an Alta HR and added a Charge 3 and have now purchased snInspire HR and a Versa Lite. But I’m frustrated because I can’t put them all on my account and sync. Instead I have to “switch” between the last three every time I wish to use a different one. Very frustrating and time consuming. Surely there is a way to adapt the software to accommodate all the different devices. Doesn’t the company want us to isnabd use as mzny versions as possible? Aren’t sales one of the major goals? Just make it work fir me please!

I provided this link hoping it helps https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1715 What your looking for as described currently exists.
I use both a Blaze and a Flex and have them both setup on the same account and able to sync without issues. Is it possible maybe you are seeing a little lag in between them trying to sync? If i last used my flex and switch to my blaze the app will try and sync to the flex first before going to the blaze, but it always seems to work.
Now all your trackers are capable of tracking heart rate ( i keep mine set to auto), but i wonder if in your case some of the trackers are set to always track the hear rate and the app thinks they are all being used at once.
In this case there is only one dashboard though, all those trackers are working towards one goal.

I appreciate you trying to help, @thenameless1 but the heart rate had nothing to do with having more than one device on an account. Your link was helpful, though. Thanks.
@1Eleanor - please check the link for details but the issue is this - ... you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.
You will have to stick to one at a time with your Inspire, Charge 3 and Versa. But your Alta HR should be able to work with any of the others, giving you two devices on your account.

Thanks to those responding to my comment about multiple devices. Some reassurance knowing I am not alone in my frustration. You’d think they could change the software and fix the problem and sell a lot more devices. Maybe the new owners at Google will be more interested. For those who don’t know, the (frustrating) answer from Fitbit was: you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. This applies to the Charge 3, Inspire series and Versa series. For reference, see Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

Thank you for your response. Has nothing to do with heart rate. It is just not possible to have any two of Inspire HR, Charge 3, or Versa on the same account. The only way for it to be possible is for the Fitbit software to change to accommodate it to make it happen and that doesn’t seem to be something they are interested in doing. Until then, I have to change my account by switching devices there before I switch between them in my wrist.

This limitation is infuriating. I just bought an Inspire HR for sleep tracking because I have trouble sleeping with my Ionic. Clearly, I just wasted my money.
There is no good reason for this limitation.

and fast-forward three years later and the resident geniuses at Google still cant figure out how to do this to maximize the benefits of multiple devices... very frustrating...
