Fitbit App on iPad not showing steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

On Tuesday (21 Feb 23) the Fitbit app stopped showing the step count and put calories at the top.  I can’t find where the step count has disappeared to.

I run the app on my iPad which is up to date with the software and so is the Fitbit app, what can I do?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Tracy9876.

Thank you for sharing this information about the missing steps on the Fitbit app, I'd suggest trying the following:

  1. On the Today tab and tap Edit.
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add then tap Add.
  3. Tap Done.

If the steps are still missing, try to set up your Fitbit device as a new device in your account

Hope this helps.

Note: blind and reading, disabled users, do not have access to the edit button if they use Apple‘s voiceover screen reader to get information from the application screen. I have found a workaround which requires that you placed your finger on the tile and hold it until the message, allowing you to edit tiles is readable by the voiceover screen reader. When you are done doing your editing of the screen, go to the upper left corner, which voiceover reads as profile and I believe is a picture and tap on profile and then close profile after it opens  this returns the screen to its normal status.
