Hi-

I've had an alta for several months and it was connected to my iphone 6. I accidentally deleted it from "my devices" and now I can't seem to reconnect it. It's not showing up in "my devices" and other devices just keeps searching and can't find it. I even turned bluetooth off but no luck. My fitbit ap still works fine and collects my data but I like getting the texts to my fitbit and can't without it being connected in bluetooth. Thank you!

Hello @Zkrs, thanks for joining us, it's great to see new faces around the Community! Smiley Happy

As you mentioned that you accidentally removed your Alta from the list of paired devices on your phone, in order to enable Notifications once again please try the following:

  1. Restart your phone.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account button on the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on Alta and search for Notifications.
  4. Enable them once again, you will be asked if you like to Pair your phone, please accept and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I have had this issue with the Charge 2. I have deleted the Charge from the account and reinstalled it a few times. I have also deleted the Fitbit app from the phone and reinstalled.

When I go to tap on notifications, it continues to spin and then tells me the Bluetooth wont connect. Any solutions you can offer. I have lost the capability to receive text on my Charge 2

Hello @mchlldckr, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to see new people around! Smiley Happy

If your Charge 2 is unable to set notifications with your phone, please try the following:

  1. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone and try to set up notifications again. A pop-up will appear asking you to turn on Bluetooth, please do.
  2. Restart your phone and try again.
  3. Sync your tracker, then uninstall the Fitbit app, after that, reinstall it again and try to set up notifications once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!
