Unable to connect with a friend

My mom and I use the Fitbit app and we've sent friend requests. Each profile shows "friend request sent" but neither of us have received a friend request and we can't get connected. How can we delete the requests and try again or get connected?! This is frustrating! Fitbit should take lessons from Facebook on requesting friends. It's easy, click send friend request, cancel friend request or delete friend. Why does Fitbit make something so simple so difficult?!

Welcome to the Community @Kara3447! I'd start double checking both email addresses are correctly spelled. If they are, you should check out the inbox of the email address, you will get the invitation there and only one needs to accept it to see it other's request accepted.
