Is my fit bit charge 2 special edition suppose to notify me of txt, phone and emails from my I phone ?

How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

 

My device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
