My body fat % hovers between 6% and 7% usually, but have been ill and is currently 4.6%. I want to track everything and after entering this in it says,
"Invalid fat
Oops, please provide a valid fat"
It frustrates me that I am not allowed to enter in a true data point probably because someone in Fitbit thought it would never be needed, or is suggesting this is unhealthy, but nevertheless, a data point is a data point. It is valid and true if it is for that individual.
My other point is, what if a competition body builder was tovuse your app, and they can go even lower than 4%, as low as 1-2% on stage. They would disregard the use of this app. And even though there's only a small population of people who have body fat as low as this, it's still a percentage of customers/users that are not being served.
But by updating such a small issue, it would include more people and make for a better using application. More happy customers means more spreading of good word about it to friends and family and blogs, etc. Which serves you well, and us well.
It is my hope that this message would be passed up to the software designers or really, the one in charge to make that decision to allow this small but frustrating issue to be reconsidered.

Hello @Zealious, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Please note that the reason you're unable to input [4.6%] of body fat in the Fitbit app is because the range for body fat allowed is from [5%] to [75%].
We really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. I understand how important for you is for these limits to be expanded. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and I would like to encourage you to submit your insight as a suggested idea, where members of the Community can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in the future.
Feel free to share your suggestion with your friends and family to add more votes and comments, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
