It's honestly ridiculous that it's 2019 and the ONLY way to reset your password is using the email associated with your account. The email I used for my account (which I made 4 years ago, and the email being probably 10 years old), I no longer use and could try and guess the password for hours. My Fitbit app logged me out without even asking me and is telling me my password is wrong (when I didn't change it, and I write all of my passwords down). Now, I can't recover my password and I lose all my data making a new account. Has a text verification option really not been considered with this company?? Catch up, Fitbit.

Hello @mweslake, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
I appreciate you have taken the time to share your feedback about the Fitbit app, our team is constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers.
Now, if you're unable to restart your password from the app, because you're unable to log in to email, please go to the online Dashboard and log in here using your current credentials. Then go to your Personal Settings and update the email here by clicking on "Change Email Address", select a new password from here and log in with the new credentials in to the Fitbit app.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
