When I went to sync after update? It wants me to log in, but says my email (which I used to reset the password 5 times) is not a valid email. Tried to re-sign up and it already has that profile. This has failed on the iPad mini and my android phone.

Hello @AuntC, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Since when have you experienced this situation? Have you restarted your phone yet? If so, I would like to suggest you to go to your online Dashboard and check if you're able to log in using your credentials. If you are, please go to the Fitbit app and take a screenshot of the error you're getting when trying to log in with the same credentials so I can check this issue further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply. Smiley Wink

I did all of the above and still got the error message. But the last time I input my email it underlined itself. I did not know how to make that happen, but it made the app happy and it opened for me on both the ipad and the android. Also of note, I had deleted the app from my ipad thinking to re install. However when I went to the apple app store I could not find the actual Fitbit app, just supplements. I had to go back to my setup paperwork to find a link that worked. Thank you for your help.

Hello @AuntC, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply and let me know you have been able to log in to your account. I'm glad. Smiley Happy

As future reference, when you're installing the Fitbit app on an iPad, make sure the App Store says "iPhone Store" instead of "iPad Store", that will make the app show up.

In case you have some spare time, I would like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you will find great tips and encouragement from other members and if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.

Happy stepping!
