I updated my apps and the system logged me out of my iPhone app. I had used Facebook to log into fitbit and create my account years ago and now that option is not showing on my iPhone app. I am able to log in with facebook through my computer but have been unable to sync with my app for several days. I have tried resetting my password to change my account however although I have requested the 'reset my password' option several times no email arrives. I am incredibly frustrated. I do not want to lose my history (its years of data) and fitbit friend connections by creating a new account but cannot log in.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for efforts while trying to log in. Currently the option to login using Facebook is available in the website, but not in the Fitbit app. I understand how important is to keep your information, and I'm sorry that you're going through this experience. I've checked with our Support Team that a case was opened for you, and they'll continue working with you via email. Make sure to check your inbox, spam or junk folders for any update from our team.

I am having the same issue. I am not able to login to my app on my phone because when I joined I used the Facebook functionality. How do I change my account to use my email address instead without losing my history?

Hi @StacyH318. Welcome on board! It's nice to see a new face around and I'm sorry for my delay.
Thanks for letting me know that you're having this situation. I know how you're feeling about not having access to your account, I'll be here to help you out with this. In regards to your question, you can edit the email address linked to your Fitbit device, however you'll need to be logged in first. Since you mentioned not not be able to log in through Facebook, may I know what error message is displayed? Have you made sure to have updated the Fitbit app to the latest version?
In the meantime and if you've not done so, you can try to force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
