Unable to migrate Fitbit to Google

I have been trying to migrate my fitbit app to google because Fitbit app will be unavailable in early 2026.

I use google as my mail platform. But I dont have an account that says it ends with Gmail.com. Many years ago I setup my own domain name which points to gmail. 

I cant complete the migration process because it seems to fail with the doamian name

Thanks for sharing these details. While this is odd, please try the following steps to see if it works afterward:

1. Log out from your Fitbit account
2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
3. Open the Fitbit app and sign in to your Fitbit account.
4. Tap Settings at the upper right corner and look for the prompt to move your account.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions

If the issue persists, take a screenshot of the error message so I can look into this.

@LizzyFitbit   My search, and this is a Google generated answer, is that the type of account described by @LindsayBy is a type of Google Workspace Account.  Specifically, it is a Google Workspace Individual Account.

@LindsayBy  Workspace accounts aren’t supported.
