My first ionic broke in 2 weeks.
Fitbit replaced it.
Cool so far.
Now, suddenly my second ionic won't pair or sync with my iPhone7+
All other bluetooth devices work fine.
I have literally tried everything:
I have reviewed several community boards about this product, and there seem to be a lot complaints and a lot of frustration, so it's not just me.
Another problem with the ionic is the need to constantly recharge it. If it loses power, there goes your watch.
I am going to try an iPhone. I've given these guys 2 tries, and given that its a $300 device, I don't think that it's worth the money.
If I recall correctly, the ionic was fitbit's first venture into different specs. Perhaps, it wasn't quite ready for retail when fitbit rushed it out for sale.
In any event, I am going to switch technology...probably getting an iWatch.
The bottom line is don't buy a fitbit versa. Stick with an Apple Product, or perhaps a fitbit charge 2, which was a good device.

Marco:
Thank your for your offer to help.
As I stated, my Fitbit Ionic touchscreen is dead...for the second time.
I cannot retrieve any data from the watch, because I cannot manipulate the controls.
This touchscreen problem is epedemic.
I already wrote negative reviews on Consumer Report and Cnet….That's just a start.
You need to release a bug fix that repairs this problem.
In the meantime, I will continue to write negative, honest reviews about your "top of the line" product.
It's pretty obvious that you released the Ionic before perfecting the touchscreen. I am not sure how it even slipped through your QC.
