yesterday updated the fibit app and found that my data no longer sync, so i decided to do a factory reset, and hope that installing the latest firmware can fix all the buggggggggs

unfortunately i no longer be able to pair my watch. everytime my phone found versa and enter the 4 digit code, versa change into logo screen, and my phone keep waiting at the 4 digit entering screen. I feel so strange so that I go to my phone bluetooth setting, and see that the bluetooth keep flipping between connected and disconnected.

I tried Lumia 950, iPad 2017, Iphone XR. All are with latest os version. I tried rebooting all phones and versa, swith the bluetooth on and off, versa reboot,  all failed to pairing my phone. Totally frustrated

Since you have tried many different devices, we need to go into the bluetooth settings of each of the devices, if they are nearby, and remove the versa and versa classic from each one.

Have you also removed the Versa from your Fitbit account or are you using the replace option to add the Versa. It really doesn't matter which option is being used.

Choose one phone, please check for an app update, and if possible I would clear data and cache in the Fitbit app.

Then try setting up again.

I'm not sure what is ment by pairing it up.

If the Versa is not connected to your Fitbit account, then you will need to use the Fitbit app to setup the Versa.

The user does not pair a Fitbit tracker to the phone in the way a speaker would be paired.

If the versa is connected to your account then we have a sync problem.

Hello @PatrickLam, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. It's great to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@PatrickLam, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, please note that as @Rich_Laue mentioned, your Vera will not pair through the Bluetooth Settings on your phone, but through the Fitbit app. If you have already tried with several phones and devices, please go to each go to the Bluetooth settings on each phone and tablet and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device and try to pair your Versa with only one device. If your Versa is still having trouble setting up, please try the following:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, then try to set up again.
  4. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.
  5. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet and try to set up the Versa one more time.

Now, before you begin the firmware update, make sure your watch is plugged into the charger and in range of your Wi-Fi network during the update. For best results, use your home or work Wi-Fi network. If you've never connected your watch to WiFi, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?. If your Versa is having trouble updating with WiFi, please try the following:

  1. Make sure your watch is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to use.
  2. Move your watch closer to your router.
  3. Make sure your router is connected to the internet.
  4. Restart your watch by holding the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo.
  5. Try again to update your watch.

If the update fails, restart your mobile device and try to update again. If your Versa can't update over WiFi follow the on-screen instructions in the Fitbit app to update your watch over Bluetooth instead. Note that firmware updates over Bluetooth may take significantly longer to complete. If the Versa is having trouble updating through Bluetooth try the following:

  1. Try turning Bluetooth on and off on your phone.
  2. Restart your watch by holding the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo.
  3. Try again to update your watch.
  4. Restart your mobile device and try to update again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
