Unable to pair tracker to new phone.

So my device sat around for a couple weeks and eventually died, so I recharged it to use it again. However, I got a new phone and after charging my Fitbit I could not get it to sync with my new phone. Also the Fitbit says the wrong date and time. So I disconnected my Fitbit from the app to reconnect it again, but now it won't pair. I've tried resetting my Fitbit many times, I've tried restarting the app as well as my entire phone, and I have tried turning my Bluetooth on and off. I also looked for an update for the app and couldn't find any and I made sure on the websit that my phone and Fitbit were compatible. I have a Fitbit HR charge 2 and and iPhone iOS 7S. I feel like I have tried everything and they still will not pair.

Hello @RaeKirk, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If your tracker doesn't seem to set up again with your phone, let's try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your Charge 2 is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  4. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal or cellular data available.
  5. If you still have your old phone around, remove the tracker from the old phone Bluetooth settings as well.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  7. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

Please try the setup process a couple more times, remember that this process might take up to 10 minutes to complete and don't let the phone lock itself while looking for your tracker.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
