I got my Charge 2 on Friday and until yesterday [Tuesday] it did everything I expected. But yesterday, it stopped sending me notifications I had received texts or call.. I went to the Iphone app, deleted the Charge 2 and then reconnected. That did not work. Today I did a reset on the device and that doesn't seem to work either, at least on calls. I see another poster had this same problem, but unlike her, mine did not start with an IOS update. My last update predated getting the Charge 2.
Really like the device but it is important for me to receive the notifications.

Thanks for letting me know about the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far, I really appreciate it. In this case I would like to suggest you to check if your Charge 2 is not currently in the "Do Not Disturb" mode. To check this, please press the button on the side for 2 seconds while on the clock face, a vibration and a message will let you know if this mode has been turned on or off.
If your tracker is not on the "Do Not Disturb" mode and you're still unable to receive notifications, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:
