Unable to receive text Notifications.

In the last couple weeks I noticed I was not getting notifications for calls and text messages on my Charge HR2.  Turned notifications off, then on, still nothing.  I revoked and reloaded my phone.  That has now enabled call notifications but, still nothing for text messages.

I reset my Fitbit, and still no text notifications.  This problem presented before the 12.2 ios upgrade.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hello @jjcamp03 and @Verlinep thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for troubleshoot this issue before reaching us out. At this moment, I would suggest you to restart your Charge 2 and your phone and if this doesn't seem to enable Notifications, please

reset them from the Fitbit app following these steps:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

BTPairing2.jpg- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and check that the following is enabled:

Finally, go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Messages and make sure to enable the following:

So turns out the issue is I had apparently held the little button on the
left in too long- That turns off and on the notifications..
I had done everything else- but didnt know I had really turned off the
notifications manually..
Nice feature now that I know how it works!!

Take Care

I no longer get text notifications or call notifications.  I chatted with Fitbit this afternoon for an hour and all my settings are correct.  This is a problem Fitbit is working on and they don’t know when it’ll be fixed.  I have a versa and this is a key reason I purchased it. I will be returning it if it is not fixed very shortly.

Recently upgraded iPhone 5c to 7.    Was working at first but since update of the fitbit app or the ios 12.4.1 neither phone notifications or text work.   Thank you!
