Unable to remove old device from account.

I created my Fitbit account a couple of years ago with the Force Fitbit. I no longer have that but now I can’t get it off my account, it keeps trying to get info from it even when I hit delete device

@HMcQuaide  Hello, and welcome to the forums!

 

I don't have a miracle answer for you, just ideas.  If you go to your account on the web dashboard, can you remove your Force from there?  On your web dashboard > click on the gear icon > Force > Remove this Force from your account at the bottom of the page.

 

On the app dashboard when you tap on the Account icon > Force > Remove this Force (at the bottom of the page), what happens?

 

If you still can't remove it, then you might need to contact Support directly.

@HMcQuaide, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. If you have already tried the troubleshooting steps kindly provided by @LZeeW and you're still unable to remove the Force from your account, please go to the Device Settings in the online Dashboard and try to remove it from here. Once you select your old device, you will be able to see "Remove this Force from your account".

 

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
