New charge 2 won't Bluetooth connect with my iPad. Tried resetting the tracker, turning Bluetooth off and on, etc. Bluetooth not showing a device to pair with... This is my first Fitbit...quite frustrated to not be able to follow the simple set up instructions!

I don't the app works on the iPad, so I would think setting it up with bluetooth won't happen. I thought FitBit's app only works on phones.

Hello @Cilda, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you around too @SunsetRunner. Smiley Happy

@Cilda, I appreciate you have let me know the troubleshooting steps you have already tried in order to resolve this issue. Please note that the Fitbit trackers and app can sync and be set up on an iPad, they don't sync or set up through the Bluetooth settings though. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to check if your iPad's model is listed in our compatibility chart first.

If your iPad is compatible, please follow these steps in order to try to set up your Charge 2.

  1. Restart your Charge 2 once again, only this time leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Restart your iPad.
  3. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
  4. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  6. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  7. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your iPad, tap on Pair and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
