iOS app not showing correct step count

Hi everyone! Weird issue today which I've never experienced before... my Fitbit Blaze is showing that I've done approx. 6,000 steps today. This morning I noticed that MyFitnessPal had stopped receiving data from the Fitbit app at 1,433 steps. I checked the Fitbit app, which is showing 6,000 steps when I sync my Blaze, BUT... when I first open the Fitbit app, it flashes up with 1,433 before correcting itself to 6,000. My Fitbit web dashboard is also displaying 1,433, suggesting that the Fitbit app has got somehow "stuck" at 1,433 and has stopped passing data to the cloud and to other apps.

I've tried:

Uninstalling and re-installing the app, logging in and out of the app, restarting my Blaze, restarting my phone, disconnecting and re-connecting MyFitnessPal.

Any ideas, Fitbit community??

Thanks in advance!

Hello @alice.n, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far, I appreciate it.

At this moment, now that you have restarted your Blaze and phone and reset the connection between Fitbit and MFP, I would like to suggest you to monitor your tracker and app for the next couple of days and if you experience the same issue again, please reply to me so I can check this further.

Thanks for your understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply as well. Smiley Wink
