Unable to set up Charge 3 on iPhone 6S.

I have recently purchased a Charge 3 to replace my Charge HR.   It won't set up on my Fitbit account on my iPad as this is an older version... So I tried my iPhone 6S - which is in the list of supported phones....but the phone's Bluetooth  cannot see the Charge 3. I have turned the Bluetooth off and on multiple times, reset the Charge 3 rebooted the iPhone... Logged in and out of the app.  Ensured the charge HR and any othe Bluetooth devices are not connected.  Basically followed all the instructions in the start guide nothing works.   I am very disappointed as I really enjoy my Fitbit.... Anyone have any suggestions or remedies?

@Gabsgirl I'm not sure if your using the Fitbit app to setup the Charge 3 or simply trying to pair the tracker to your phones Bluetooth which the user will not be able to do.

May I ask at what step did the setup process fail and do you receive any wore messages?

Hi Rich,
I am trying to set it up through the app, but when it uses Bluetooth to search for the Charge3 it is not found and I get the not working ? screen telling me to check that it is plugged in - it is, that there are no other trackers nearby - all moved out of range and disconnected. But still the Charge 3 is not found. I can't get beyond this stage.

Hello @Gabsgirl, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's great to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, I would like to suggest you try the following steps:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart your Charge 3.
  4. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.
  5. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet and try to set up the Charge 3 one more time.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
