I have downloaded the app on my iPhone 7, and then select join Fitbit - then I just get the loading wheel constantly and it doesn't come up with any options to select my Fitbit type or model.
any help much appreciated.

Hello @Jamesrlaming298, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board!
In this particular case I would like to suggest you to update the app as we have just released a new update. Then go to your phone Settings > General > Date & time and make sure Set Automatically is enabled. Then, open the Fitbit app and tap on Join Fitbit.
Additionally, you can create your account through the Fitbit website, then instead of tapping on Join Fitbit you can tap on Log in and access with your recently created credentials.
