Unable to switch back to parent view in app

Hi everyone ! 
I have my own account on the Fitbit app which Iv had for years, I added my daughter a kids profile when she got her own ace watch. Iv been easily able to switch too and from parent view/kid view for the last year or so… but the last two days it won’t switch back ?? 
Am I doing something wrong ? 

on kid view on my app (IOS) I usually click the ‘settings’ option top right, and at the bottom it says ‘switch profile in family’, well Iv been clinking that and the screen goes blank as if it’s loading but then it just takes me back to the kid view ??? 

iv reset my phone, Iv stopped the app, and just incase Iv reset both watches haha. 

is anyone able to offer advice please ?

Hi there, @Tiperty@LZeeW It's nice to see around helping our members.

@Tiperty Thanks for sharing these details and the steps that you've tried so far. You've done a good job so far! To work on this together, I'd suggest trying to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app as a last resort. Once this is done, reboot your phone one more time and attempt switching from kid's to parent's view.

Hi LizzyFitbit, Thankyou @LZeeW for popping me in the correct help section. 
Appreciate both of your replies. 

I have deleted and re downloaded the app twice, which allowed me to sign in and then have the app back to my own page but again soon as I switched to kid view I couldn’t get back again, which resulted me in having to delete and redownload & sign in again….. however since then (today 20th) the family section has come back when on kid view !! And I can now switch back and forth with ease. 

im not sure what was happening but all seems ok for now, fingers crossed. Thankyou both again.

I am having the same problem. There were no issues with it about a week ago and I know for sure there were no issues on Christmas when we got the new watches.

yes Iv done all this and still hasn’t worked. It did in fact work initially for a couple of days, but again the family tile is now missing from kid view AGAIN, so now can’t switch back again..

the only way Iv been able to do it is delete the app, and sign back in again everytime! It’s extremely frustrating when one minute it works and the next it doesn’t. 
I think I will have to reach out to them. Thankyou

Sorry to hear you’re having issues too. 

Yes it’s been fine for ages, then the ‘family’ tiles just disappeared, the only way I could switch back to my account was to delete the app and sign back in, but then when syncing my child’s watch I couldn’t get back again!! So again deleted the app…… 🤣🙈  the family tile did pop back yesterday and I had no issues. Went to do an end of day sync and now can’t get back to parent view again !!! 
what a nightmare !
