Unable to sync and update firmware on Blaze.

My iOS version is greater than 10.2 so I'm having trouble syncing my Fitbit to the app.  I found the instructions online about updating my blaze firmware however unfortunately before I became aware of this I deleted my device from the app hoping that would fix it.  Now I can't add my device again to the app to update the firmware and then sync it.  Appreciate some advice - is there another way to update the firmware?  Thanks!  Angela

Hello @AKS369, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If you have removed your Blaze from your account and the tracker is unable to pair again, please try the following steps:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, check if your Blaze is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Restart your Blaze by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  4. Plug in your Blaze and make sure it's charging
  5. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal
  6. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.

After that, please try to set up your tracker again, once the tracker has been set up, you will be prompted to update the firmware.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
