I know I should have researched this before purchasing a FitBit Charge 3, but it seems like a reasonable assumption that any given fitness tracker with an iOS app would support syncing with to Apple Health. I can’t imagine a reasonable reason why it wouldn’t. So, while I was super excited to bring the Charge 3 home, I will be returning it to the store.
I do like FitBit’s line of products, but this is a deal breaker.

I bought a Fitbit a few months ago too without realizing it didn’t sync with Apple Health. I don’t understand why they are so stubborn and at this point I don’t care. I will go back to Xiaomi or buy a second hand Apple Watch. I really regret buying a product from a company that simply doesn’t care about its costumers.

I also do not understand why syncing with Apple health is a problem. I had a problem with my charge 3 , just 3 weeks after getting it, was unhappy with service. I am on my way to buy an Apple watch. because your company is going down hill. As far as customer service.

I agree with this thread 200%. I will likely be trading my Fitbit Ionic in for a new Apple Watch soon just because of this. Short sightedness on the part of the Fitbit development team.
