So I still cannot sync my iPhone 8. I have tried many times and first of all the directions should be more explicit. I have forced synced many a device the first bit is impossible.

Also I detest the new platform...........not that i've been able to use it as I can't connect any more.

Hi @Taffybeach. Welcome on board.

Thanks for letting me know that you're having syncing issues despite the steps tried on your own. I'm sorry that you're having this experience with both, your Fitbit and the new dashboard. Our team works on all our products based on the comments posted in the forums and while there isn't an option to change the new dashboard, be sure that your feedback won't be taken for granted.

In regards to your other question, may I know the error message displayed when trying to sync? Have you made sure to update the Fitbit app to the latest version? Also, what's the model of your Fitbit device?

To get your Fitbit syncing correctly, please give a try to these steps in the given order:

  1. Remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your Fitbit.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile image > Set Up a Device.
  6. Choose your Fitbit from the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

Let me know how everything goes.
