I have and older iphone with ios12.5.4 and have tried downloading the newest version of the fitbit sense app update 3.43 and it will not download. I see that it requires ios 13.4 but my iphone will not update to this version. The current issue with my sense is that it will not hold charge so I need to charge it each morning and night. This only began a few days ago. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

@roblharding   Fitbit recently changed its minimum OS for both Android and iPhones.  Version 3.43 requires iOS 13.  You can't change that.  A moderator said the you should be able to sync with an older version.  New users with older phones are absolutely out of luck.  But I'm not sure if this is the cause of your Sense battery drain.  I browsed the iOS forum, looking for posts about the app draining the device battery.  Nothing really jumps out.

I think you should contact Support with a specific question about excessive Sense battery drain.

Also, if you can't upgrade past iOS 12.5.4, it means that Apple no longer supports your phone.  This means you won't get any security updates.  You should consider upgrading your phone.

Thanks for the advice. I am currently doing a factory reset on the sense
and then an update as much as . This is supposed to help the issue some.
We'll see. The other thing I will try is to turn bluetooth off at night to
try and slow the drain. Thanks again for the suggestions.
