Use of the replacement discount

Anyone else have issues with Fitbit customer service? My versa 2 broke but I was told I could get a 35% discount to purchase a new one. I decided to upgrade and they told me I couldn’t use the discount for an upgraded, after I purchased it.

Hi @luvs2read4  when you get a discount, you usually get an email telling you how to use it. An upgrade of device is normally not a coupon a person can use. It's been pretty much standard since I've been on these forums the past seven years. Not sure how that means there is an issue with customer service?

The customer service did not tell me I wasn’t allowed to upgrade. The email
with the discount just stated i could use it on the website. And it took so
many emails and me purchasing the device and following up three times
before they told me I couldn’t use the discount on that device. After I
already spent $200.
