I am experiencing the same error every time I go into the app. It updates but the error for pairing and setup always shows up

Hi @Jellyd.  Welcome! It's great to see you around.

Thanks for the detailed information shared. Since you mentioned to have been prompted to pair via Bluetooth regularly, may I know what happens when you accept this request? You'll need to accept the pair prompt so your watch can sync automatically, receive notifications and appear in the Bluetooth settings as a connected device.

If nothing happens when accepting that prompt and if you haven't done so, I recommend trying the following in the given order:

  1. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Versa 2.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Choose your watch and follow the onscreen instructions. Try the pairing process when prompt.

On a side note, I've moved your post to this thread so we can keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps.

Hi there @Scow.

I'm sorry you're going through this experience. Could you please confirm if you have followed the instructions provided here

If the issue persists, please let me know if you continue getting the Bluetooth Pairing message or if you are getting a different error message when you try to pair your Fitbit device with your phone.

See you around.
