Versa 2 no longer syncs with iPhone and iPad

Hi here in Iowa it is so cold, so I am walking the circle in my house. Boring but it works. I go swimming in my aquqarobics class 3 days a week so that helps me to. I have a Versa 2 which I love! But the last couple of days it hasn’t been communicating with my IPhone. Well I found out that it quit going to my IPhone and went to my IPad. 🤷‍:female_sign: plus it still isn’t counting my steps. Like there is no place other than my watch, where I can see my steps. No place on my phone or my IPad. Did they take this off the app? Honestly when they did the update last year, I really didn’t like it so much.
my questions are this - (1) Can I have the app on both my IPhone and my IPad? and (2) I need to see a visual of my step count on the app.

thank you. I hope you can help me fix this problem!

Hi there, @DRuthie.

Thanks for the detailed information you've shared. I understand how important it is to keep your data updated on the Fitbit app, and I'm sorry you're having this inconvenience. Before anything else, I'd like to clarify with you that, while you can use the Fitbit app on multiple devices, it's recommended to use one at a time to prevent any conflict with the Bluetooth connection.

With this in mind, let me recommend the following steps:

  1. Forget your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and iPad
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPad
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
  4. Restart your watch to refresh its performance
  5. Open the Fitbit app on your phone and tap Devices at the upper left corner
  6. Tap Add More Devices, select Versa 2 and follow the on-screen instructions

Once your watch is connected, turn off the Bluetooth on your phone and turn on the Bluetooth on your iPad so you can try syncing with it.
