Versa Lite loses time and won't hold a charge

I have a macOS (latest version) iPad and latest version of VersaLite. My watch has continually lost time in the past week. Also battery not holding charge for 24 hours. I have spent more hours syncing and re-syncing and completely doing new updates that I am ready to put this watch in the trash. Wish I had purchased an Apple Watch. Jeez.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @AppleWatchNow.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend confirming that your Fitbit device is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update my Fitbit device? Please also make sure you have turned on "Set automatically" for date and time on your iPad: open your iPad's settings > tap General > tap Date & Time > and then toggle "Set Automatically" on.

To maximize your Fitbit device's battery life, see the tips in Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hope this helps!

Hi, Liliya,
Yes, I have done all of these things you mentioned. Actually several times. 38.33.1.30. Just did it again to be sure I did it correctly.
Nothing seems to bring it out of this mode. I have turned off all everything except for the step tracker. The brightness is on the dim setting. I have followed all instructions for time reset.
My iPad is completely shut down every night.
The whole thing is driving me nuts! It started with a sudden 2 hour slowness. Now it is just over 3. Why would this just start?
Thanks for your assistance. I am honestly thinking I should have spent the extra money and purchased an Apple Watch.
