Versa doesn't connect to WiFi

I’m honestly beyond frustrated right now. I’ve been trying to connect my Versa watch (via my iPad) to the WiFi network for the past hour, and all it says every single time is ‘Can’t Find Device’; it doesn’t even give me the option to manually input another network. How do I overcome this? I’ve tried every troubleshooting suggestion, and double-checked everything like my device’s percentage, watch percentage, and the WiFi I’m using only requires a password, not browser authentication.

Do you have any suggestions? I’m highly irritated.

Hi @TaniaTeo, welcome to the Community Forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa isn't connecting to your Versa. I totally understand where are you coming from, and I'm here to help you out. As you may know there are some details that are required to connect to WiFi. May I know your iPad's model and iOS version? Is the Fitbit app updated to the 3.1 version? Also, please verify the following information:

  • You're using WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security.
  • The router's frequency setting is 802.11b/g/n under 2.4GHz.
  • You're not using any firewalls or MAC filtering.
  • Your iPad is connected to the same WiFi instead of mobile data or Hotspot.
  • Your Versa was plugged into the charging cable and next to the router during the process.

In the meantime, while you've tried troubleshooting your Versa, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your iPad.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap on Account icon > Versa > Sync now.
  4. Then tap on Notifications to pair via Bluetooth.
  5. Once that is done, plug the Versa into the charging cradle and place it next to the router.
  6. Tap on WiFi settings in the Fitbit app and try the process one more time.

Give it a try, and let me know how it goes.
