Hello @Joebaby, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Have you restarted your Versa already by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Now, if you have already restarted your Versa, make sure it's not currently in the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode by pressing down the button on the side for 2 seconds, in here check that Notification have been set to ON. If everything seems to working fine, I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications from the Fitbit app following these steps:

- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.

- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.

- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Tracker > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:

BTPairing.jpg

- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:

BTPairing2.jpg- Tap Pair

- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

Additionally, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and Settings > Notifications > Messages and check that the following is enabled:

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello MarcoG,

Spoke to soon. It worked once then stopped. Chatted with a Fitbit support agent but she was unable to resolve issue. She said they are aware of the issue and hope to have it fix soon. I have a new Versa that won’t receive text message notification from my iPhone 6s. If anyone else have a solution let me know. So far I tried everything that has been posted

Hi,

Ive been having many issues with my versa. It's doesn't sync never, and I don't get any notifications.

I have tried every possible solutions posted by fitbit employees and the community. It's just never works. I've had the watch now for maybe 7 months, and out of those months, 3 months everything was working great. Then it just stopped and only randomly will sync. I have a Samsung galaxy 7 phone Please help!!!

All was working well with my Vesta until about the second last week in February when the sync appears to have fallen over. No sleep data or notifications could be sync between the Fitbit or the iPhone. Tried various troubleshooting steps but no luck. Even did a factory reset but still the "Bluetooth Pairing Failed" notice was displayed. Call notifications and All-Day Sync are disabled for Now.

Fitbit app version 2.88 (19/2/19) and Vesta version 32.33.1.30 installed.

I wonder if ver 2.88 has anything to do with the non-syncing or it is just a coincidence.

UPDATE:

Update - all sorted. Went back to the starting post and did an initial factory restart again, as well as a fresh software install on the iPhone. Followed the Bluetooth settings step by step troubleshooting guide and everything started working again as per the book.Thumbs up with sync and notifications. Man Happy

Thinking back now my mistake might have been that I missed the "Forget this device" step with the Bluetooth connection.

Happy little Vegemite.

G'day Maroy40. Thanks for getting back to me. This problem connecting via Bluetooth has been an ongoing issue since I was first given the Vesta. Various grandchildren have fixed it but keeps rearing it's ugly Bluetooth head again. Around C'mas time my only granddaughter (15 year old) played around with it and like magic was working fine again. About mid February would get some functions like steps taken but not the sleep pattern. From memory (getting a bit old now) the first step was to shut down and do a reboot. The problem didn't go away.

After reading the various postings in the forum, tried doing the factory reboot thingo but still wouldn't connect via the &%#$ Bluetooth. Tried all the Bluetooth steps on the iphone, still no luck. Again started all over again but this time clicked "Forget This Device" which I think I may have missed before. That did the trick all working again. Fingers crossed

1. iPhone SE

2. iOS 12.1.4

3. FitBit Ver 2.88 (32.33.1.30) 19/2/19

Thanks again Maroy40

My Versa stopped receiving text notifications towards the end of July. I did everything suggested, contacted a rep and did everything he suggested. After about 45 mins with the rep, I was told this was a problem some were having and there was no fix, but keep my app and tracker up to date should a fix be released in the future. There will be no fix released. Just like there still hasn't been a fix for why AirPods won't work. I'm about fed up as well since this is my 8th Fitbit since June 2015 because there is always something going wrong. And now that they no longer offer the extended warranty (probably because they know of the garbage they are creating) I cannot get another one to replace this one. Once it fully dies, I don't think I'll be buying another.
