Versa not getting notifications from iPhone 8

I sometimes get mail messages but never get SMS or call notifications, which was one of the main features I was looking for. My versa is brand new and I’m running the most current IOS software, 11.4.1. I’ve searched through the forum and already went through all the settings suggested, including un-pairing and restarting the phone but nothing works. Please help!

FIXED

I called Fitbit and it turns out that there’s a notifications setting in two different places:

 

1. By holding the left button then swiping left to Notifications

2. By going to the Settings app (3 left swipes from the clock face) and then swiping down to Notifications.

 

You have to make sure notifications are enabled in both places. The second place just specifies whether or not you can receive notifications during sleep or exercising, but the first tells you whether or not you will get them at all.

 

What a terrible UI decision...there should only be one Notifications screen and all the options should be there.
