Versa not receiving text notifications

I got the new dashboard a few weeks back but now my texts will no longer sync to the versa from my XR. I’m not keen on the whole new design but I think I could get used to it if all functionality was present and accounted for...

Hi @JET6721, welcome on board. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about the new dashboard, and I'm sorry that the text notifications aren't working. This issue seems to be related to the app rather than the new dashboard, for this reason I've moved your post to this new thread so you can receive more related responses about this situation.

About your inquiry, may I know if the Fitbit app is updated to the 3.1 version? Also, do you have other Bluetooth connections turn on? I'm asking this, as if you have multiple device, that might be interfering with the connection between your Versa and your iPhone XR. If you've not done so, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth from your iPhone XR and any other device.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and restart your Versa.
  4. On your phone's settings, tap on Notifications > Messages and make sure the options under "Alerts" are enabled.
  5. Also, verify the option "Show Previews" or "Show History" is enabled.
  6. Turn on the Bluetooth in your iPhone XR and open the Fitbit app.
  7. Tap on the Account icon > Versa image > sync now.
  8. Tap on Notifications and proceed to pair via Bluetooth.

Give it a try and keep me posted.
